This is the Original Poolstore Omega RP salt cell. The ease that comes with salt water chlorination has made it a popular choice method for pool sanitation for decades. Chlorinators should last, on average, between 10,000 and 15,000 hours of operation (around three to seven years) while this may seem like a long time, there are a number of factors which could determine how long your chlorinator cell survives. Poor water chemistry can increase scale build up and significantly reduce the lifespan of your unit, as can cleaning your unit too regularly.
